Tangara fastuosa
- epic
- 42 km/h

Vulnerable. Atlantic coast Brazil: Paraiba, Pernambuco, Alagoas. Prized by the cage-bird trade for its seven blazing colors.
- Population
- 2,500–9,999 mature individuals, declining
- Habitat
- Lowland and submontane Atlantic Forest remnants in northeastern Brazil, including forest edge, secondary growth/bushy second growth, and cultivated or agroforestry areas (e.g. cacao shade plantations) near forest

- Range

- Mainly fruit (including small dark fruits such as Miconia and Myrtaceae/guava-type blossoms), supplemented by arthropods (including mantises) gleaned from foliage and branches; feeds nestlings a mix of small fruit and insect clusters
